Intellectual Property and Confidentiality Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy explains how intellectual property is handled in Zentarix Engine engagements and how we protect the confidential information exchanged between us. Trust and clear ownership are essential to advisory work, and we treat both seriously.
01Ownership of deliverables
Unless your scope of work states otherwise, once an engagement is paid in full, you own the final deliverables we prepare specifically for you, such as your assessment report, documentation set, or workshop materials. You may use them within your organization for the purpose for which they were created.
02Our underlying methods and materials
We retain ownership of the methods, templates, frameworks, and know-how we use to produce deliverables. Where a deliverable includes such underlying material, you receive a non-exclusive right to use it as part of that deliverable, but not to resell or license the underlying method on its own.
03Website content
The content of this website, including its text, structure, and graphics, is the property of Zentarix Engine unless otherwise indicated. You may not copy or republish it beyond normal, fair use without permission.
04Confidential information
In the course of an engagement, each party may receive information the other treats as confidential, including business processes, equipment details, documentation, and pricing. Each party agrees to use the other's confidential information only for the engagement and to protect it with reasonable care.
05What is not confidential
Information is not confidential if it is already public through no fault of the receiving party, was already known before disclosure, is independently developed without using the confidential information, or must be disclosed by law. In the case of a legal requirement, we will, where lawful, notify you before disclosing.
06Handling of client documents
Documents you share with us are stored with access limited to the people working on your engagement. We retain them only as long as needed for the engagement and for our professional records, after which they are securely deleted or returned on request.
07Anonymized experience
We may describe our work in general, anonymized terms, for example the type of engagement performed, without identifying you or disclosing any confidential detail. We will not name you as a client or publish a testimonial without your permission.
08Duration of confidentiality
Confidentiality obligations continue after an engagement ends and remain in effect for as long as the information stays confidential, or for the period stated in your scope of work, whichever is longer.
09Return or deletion
On completion of an engagement, or on your written request, we will return or securely delete confidential materials in our possession, subject to any records we are required to keep by law or professional obligation.
